Fascinating, isn’t it? Are aliens cutting holes into the clouds? Are these the new crop circles? Did the aliens also clone the trees?
Wait, what? A closer look:
If you’re analyzing a video it’s important not just to look at the main event but also at small details in the background. If you take a close look you can see something as peculiar as the lights themselves:
These twigs seem to be identical. Either it’s a very weird coincidence or somebody manipulated the video.
The base for this video
Without going too deep into detail: This is not a “real” video. What you can see is just a picture put into a video programm and treated with special effects to make it look like it’s a recording. To make it seem even more impressive some light effects have been added. Here’s the original picture from 2003:
Carter is adding he shot the photo with his Kodiak digital camera at 10 a.m. in his garden in Gallatin/USA.
In 2017 another video with a higher quality and different sound effects has been uploaded to Youtube.
Here, too, we can see two complete holes (the trees were also copied and mirrored).
What are these “holes”?
These holes are real by the way. It’s a weather phenomenon called Hole-Punch Cloud or Fallstreak Hole. They happen to show up in cirrocumulus or altocumulus clouds if the temperature falls beneath zero degree celsius into a “supercooled state”. If that happens there is a chain reaction where the water drops evaporate around the crystals. This creates the holes in the clouds. If you google it, you will find more pictures. (But be beware of fakes!)
These holes in the clouds really do exist. Everything else in this video is fake though: It’s just a manipulated picture with added special effects.
